Event Coordination

One of the ways in which we raise awareness about the projects we support and our work is through events we hold in the Boston area as a means of outreach. We hold talks by academics, as well as leaders from various grass-roots movements to address issues related to sustainable development.

Besides events that have an educational component, we also hold fund raisers such as concerts and performances. You can find a sample of past events here. This gives volunteers, who might not be able to get directly involved with projects, an other avenue to partcipate actively in other areas of the organization as well.

Participating in local community events to generate awareness is an essential component of our work as well. We try to connect one on one with inviduals who might want to hear more about the work and ways in which they might get involved.
