Projects Workshop
Time : 9:00 a.m., Sunday, May 28
Venue : 6-120, MIT
The Projects that AID supports in India form the very purpose of AID's
existence, hence it is appropriate for us volunteers to devote significant
amount of energy and thinking to the Projects Workshop.
What is desired from participants before the conference:
- Response to the Projects Survey circulated on AID News by Tarun,
- Reviewing and studying the
existing Project Coordinators Packet & the Project Review Guidelines,
and the Project Approval Requirements.
What is planned for the workshop:
- A discussion on "The Quest for Good AID Projects".
This will include an overview of the existing guidelines
and ideas, ideas from participants on the topic, presentation of some of
the ideas that came from the 1999 Conference, and discussion of possible
action plans to track and ensure progress in approving quality projects.
- An overview of the current project administrative process, discussion
on the role of all volunteers in doing what is required, and on possible
improvements to the procedures.
Have questions? Please contact Kiran Kumar or
Tarun Jain.
