About the session

In this session we will cover, the overall picture of AID from different perspectives. The presentation will talk about major achievements or new directions taken by AID in the last couple of years as well as the future outlook for AID and the challenges ahead for us.

Since this is an overall picture of AID, this presentation will set the stage for the various sessions in the conference by briefly touching upon certain topics like the lessons learned and pitfalls to avoid. It will also present a few important problems that lurk upon us and let the conference participants offer solutions to them in the appropriate sessions.

Finally we will present the 1999 annual report with 1998 (audited), 1999 (un-audited) and 2000 (projected) financial figures. The session will close with questions and answers.
