The AID JeevanSaathi Program The Jeevansaathi program began in 1998 to enable and encourage AID volunteers to engage in full time social work. AID Jeevansaathis make a commitment to work on development issues, being part of AID's network and opening up new directions for AID to explore. The Jeevan Saathis provide guidance to volunteers in the US, as they experience our development efforts first-hand. Through our efforts, let's regain our holistic sense, The big picture of life, where everyone is a traveler Traveling in the same boat, Towards an unknown destination, Where each one helps the other, because without one another Neither is there meaning to the travel Nor is there a destination. AID Associate Jeevan Saathis make a commitment to work on development issues, being part of AID's network in India, and opening up new directions for AID to explore.
